Working Principle The radar-sensing light bulb is equipped with a built-in microwave radar module, which operates based on the Doppler effect: It continuously emits low-power microwave signals. The signals are reflected by objects and received by the module. When a person or object moves, the frequency of the reflected signal shifts (Doppler shift). The circuit detects the frequency shift and triggers the light to turn on; it will automatically turn off after a delay when no movement is detected. Wall Penetration Capability Radar waves are high-frequency microwaves with limited and selective penetration: Can penetrate: thin wood boards, glass, acrylic, plastic, thin plasterboard, and thin brick walls (≤10cm). Cannot penetrate / severe signal attenuation: Metal: completely blocks and reflects signals, disabling the sensor.
